This set of images was part of an album proof I put together.
This was the first time a few members of this awesome family met, as they have small children and don't all live near each other. It was a pleasure to be able to photograph them in this fun, natural way while they were all in town celebrating their mom's birthday!
This was a just a week or so before Christmas and I had been super swamped with editing around that time. I worked very hard and fast to try to surprise them with their finished gallery before Christmas! Mom surprised everyone, too, with photo albums I was asked to create for each family!
I loved the documentary style, sort of fly-on-the-wall approach I got to lean towards for some of this session. What a perfect in home extended family session!
These are a few pages from the album I created for Mom. I'm sharing them here as a blog post, although I'm not sure how well their translating to view in this form here. I think you can tell how, though, just wonderful this book turned out!
I love photographing Generation Family Sessions!
