Why should we hire YOU as our wedding photographer?
Why should I be your wedding photographer? Because I will take care of you like family. Come as you are. There are no expectations here. I'll help you craft a timeline that allows your day to be your day, just how you want it. We secure the simple timeline, then we go with the flow. I believe a photographer must be able to stay on schedule and work well with a variety of personalities and situations.
I'll be a problem solver, a helper, and a family wrangler. I'm your advocate. And I will capture beautiful images along the way.
If it rains, if it snows, if it gets dark early, if hair and makeup run late, rain or shine, whatever may come up on your big day - I've got you. And your images will be amazing. As a Northwest Indiana wedding photographer and Chicagoland wedding photographer for 15 years, I've had lots of experience and have seen it all.
My job is to take great pictures for you, yes, but also to help remove stress and make things as easy as possible for you, so you can enjoy it completely.

What's the process look like?
Booking a client usually begins with contacting me through email or the contact form on my website.
There's correspondence and often we'll have a phone meeting or a video meeting.
I'll ask questions to help gather more insight. If you love our meeting, and want to book, we get you booked!
We prepare your booking documents and send them via email.
There's a helpful wedding photo guide sent with tips and next steps. Between booking and your wedding day, we may talk, meet up, shoot an engagement session, and will probably email a few times preparing your timeline and family formal list.
I'll be in action on your wedding for around six to eight hours depending on your day.
After the wedding, we may talk more as we prepare your gallery. The images will be hand edited and processed one by one. Around 10 weeks post-wedding, you'll receive an email that your online gallery of images is ready.
As a NWI wedding photographer and Chicagoland wedding photographer, travel is included up to 40 miles from 46319, and there may be a travel fee beyond that.
How exactly do we book you?
A signed general photo agreement along with a 20% estimated retainer are required to book. The remaining amount is due by the wedding date. You don't need to know the exact number of hours you would like photography for just yet for booking. This will be confirmed before the wedding day.
Do you have resources to help me with my wedding day timeline?
Yes! A timeline is important to have. This helps you be able to relax and have the most fun on your day.
-How long does it take for makeup and hair? How much time does it take to get dressed? How long does the first look take? How long should I set aside for family formals? There's so much to get locked in. Once we have it all down, you will be on track to have the best day. Your timeline should be finalized about a month before your wedding, after you've talked to any other vendors and what time they'll need. I'm here to help, assist, guide, and coordinate with you. And whatever runs off track is nothing to worry about.
